Sydney Film School students are invited each semester to pitch our new films to AIM composition students. From this process much great collaboration has come. The best film collaborations are celebrated at a gala evening at AIM.                

AIM composers also regularly win prizes for their music at Sydney Film School Festivals. We strive to have good original music on all our films so that they may enter freely into film festivals around the world. We are very grateful for the generosity and talent we receive from staff and students of the Australian Institute of Music.

StarNow is an online Talent Directory provides our students with connections to a fantastic array of talented performers. Sydney Film School produces and exhibits over 100 completed short films every year and so our need for a wide range of actors is great.

StarNow has recently run a very successful Industry Networking Event at Sydney Film School. StarNow will be hosting a seminar at our next festival presented by eminent casting director Kari Harris.

StarNow sponsors a special award for Best Performance in a Sydney Film School project. The actor and their director share  the generous cash prize in recognition of the mutual benefit of this relationship.
